AUDIUM Semi-Active Speakers
Semi-active speakers combine the advantages of two disjuct worlds - providing a result that allows a step forward bigger then you would expect it to be from this combinations! Each Drive speaker has the amplfier module built inside to drive the woofer.
The Fullragen driver has a crossover network and is connected to binding posts. So you can drive the speakers with a very "small" amplifier - a 5W triode tube amp is enough! You will have the mellow, threedimensional sound of this amplifier through the fullrange driver, supported by the powerful, fast bass fundament from the semiactive part. Plus: Adjustments like speaker position and bass setup that allow adjustment of bass reproduction according to your listening room
AUDIUM Fully-Active Speakers
Fully active speakers - loudspeakers with the amplifier built inside, so you can connect them directly to your audio-source with volume control.The advantage is a boost in sound. No passive crossover is used (it is done by the DSP) and the power amp is located closest to the loudspeaker. Further more, you have the possibility for various adjustments to adapt the loudspeaker to your listening room and personal listening properties.
